Ready for the Dark? Prepared to see things you can’t see during the day? Keep that thought, this course is to focus on seeing in the dark things you miss seeing, or that appear differently during daylight dives. Thus, the goal of PADI Deep Diver Specialty course is to teach you a systematic, methodical approach to enjoying diving at night. You will develop the techniques involved in night diving within recreational limits and while avoiding disturbing delicate marine life.
The best way to learn night diving procedures and to apply them is by doing it. Therefore the Deep Diver Specialty, expands your knowledge about night diving equipment, evaluating dive conditions at night, using and maintaining dive lights, night navigation techniques, and how to interact responsibly with the aquatic life you’ll see while night diving.
- Certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or have a qualifying Certification from another training organization. In this case, a qualifying certification is defined as proof of entry-level scuba certification with a minimum of four open water training dives.
- Be at least 12 years.
- 3 Dives over 2 days. 250 USD OR
- 2 Dives (if already certified as PADI [Junior] Advanced Open water or PADI [Junior] Adventure diver with proof of the Night dive) over 1 day 200 USD. Includes certification, manual and dive torch.
