SHARK CONSERVATION
The course may include two scuba dives or may be presented as a non-diving education program.
Section One we will discuss:
Unique physical attributes of sharks
Conservation status of sharks
Life history traits that make sharks vulnerable
Importance to marine ecosystems
Section Two we will discuss:
Threats to sharks
Management strategies to protect sharks
Value to local economies
Misperceptions of sharks
And finally in section Three we will discuss:
Personal actions to protect sharks
Responsible environmental guidelines for diving with sharks

Prerequisites
Certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or have a qualifying Certification from another training organization. In this case, a qualifying certification is defined as proof of entry-level scuba certification with a minimum of four open water training dives.
Be at least 12 years.
