Coral Restoration Module - April 27 - May 2, 2024

This program is conducted as a workshop in which you take part in Blue Corner Marine Research's ongoing coral restoration project. During this week you will learn techniques in coral propogation, monitor nursery corals and transplant corals onto modular reef structures. Certification includes PADI Coral Restoration Diver

Coral reef ecology training week. This is the first week of our marine conservation & scientific internship program. Scheduled starting the FIRST Saturday of each month. Students learn fish and coral identification and dive at several sites around the Nusa Penida Marine Park each day.

Reef Health Monitoring - May 11-16, 2024

Learn about several survey techniques used to monitor coral reef health. Including Coral Watch & Reef Check scientific survey techniques. Certifications include Reef Check. Join our team of marine biologists and help survey the coral reefs around Nusa Lembongan & Penida.

Mantas, Sharks, Molas & Marine Megafauna -Nusa Lembongan, Bali

Week-long conservation module focusing on Manta Rays, Sharks, Molas, Turtles and other megafauna. Part of Blue Corner Marine Research’s conservation internship program on Nusa Lembongan

Certify as a CMAS Scientific Diver in this 3 - 5 week professional dive training internship. During the first week students go through safety standards for working underwater. Topics include advanced dive planning, dive accident managment, risk assessment and use of specialized dive equipment. This week is heavy in diving theory with emphasis on decompression theory, physics and physiology of diving. Become an Advanced CMAS Scientific Diver in 5 weeks by completing our four modules conservation modules in adition to the - Scientific Fundamentals week. Starts June 29, 2024.
