After 3 years of restoration, a dead and broken reef comes back to life

April 11, 2021 by Andrew Taylor

For the last three years the we have been stabilizing rubble, growing a coral nursery and transplanting corals... and the reef is slowly being restored. The previously degraded, dead rubble slope is now well on it's way to becoming a healthy coral reef!

This video shows before and after footage - of the reef 3 years ago before restoration began in early 2018; compared to now in 2021.

Interested in supporting the coral restoration efforts? You can donate and Adopt-A-Coral .
